Who Was
Seeven?
During the
1980s, a unique psychic entity was channeled through the
consciousness of a psychologist practicing in the greater
Bay Area of Northern California. Channeling, in
psychological terms, is a process of dissociation through
which the thoughts and words of a disembodied spirit are
given physical reality and presence in the voice and
expressions of a person, the channel, who transmits them
directly through his or her own mind and body. In a
series of meetings with clients and other interested
persons, Seeven spoke directly to the living concerns of
his questioners and interlocutors. These pages are the
transcribed records of those meetings, presented as a
public service by The Psychic Internet.
Emotions
I would like
to know tonight: How do you deal with emotions? What
would be the lesson in learning emotions and dealing with
them?
My Dear One, you
deal with emotions in the same way that you deal with a
card deal. You have been presented with options of
various suits; we call these probabilities -
possibilities if you will. Emotions represent the cards
at your disposal. You can play your hand to a stunning
victory or you can toss your cards back. The game is won
by the most conscious Truth-seeker, and lost by those who
live in lies.
Emotions play
havoc when one feels that one is losing. The most
negative emotions are based upon loss: self pity is a
loss of self-confidence; fear is a loss of love; sorrow
is a loss of expectation, and even hope; doubt is a loss
of belief. You are most tested when you lose physically,
for you are, of course, physical extensions of your total
beingness. Your most poignant lessons, then, relate to
loss of tangible, physical realities. You don't seem to
mind when a Guide leaves you, and yet you mind when a
particular food is taken off the menu. Now, isn't that
ludicrous?
Yes.
I have seen grown Beings weep over
a loss of Lobster Newberg, but I have yet to see a single
Being weep over the loss of a valuable Spirit Guide. When
Guides are unrecognized, and services unused, they move
one, as you would say it, with their knapsacks. . . and
their bus passes. Other Beings await them eagerly -
without consciously knowing this, of course. So, you see
Dear One, that emotions are your greatest tools to joy and
your greatest tool to self-annihilation. Like a knife,
emotions can construct creatively or they can slay
unmercifully. You all have heard that "the pen is
mightier than the sword." Emotions are mightier than
the laser, if we update this great saying. (Next Page)
