Who Was
Seeven?
During the
1980s, a unique psychic entity was channeled through the
consciousness of a psychologist practicing in the greater
Bay Area of Northern California. Channeling, in
psychological terms, is a process of dissociation through
which the thoughts and words of a disembodied spirit are
given physical reality and presence in the voice and
expressions of a person, the channel, who transmits them
directly through his or her own mind and body. In a
series of meetings with clients and other interested
persons, Seeven spoke directly to the living concerns of
his questioners and interlocutors. These pages are the
transcribed records of those meetings, presented as a
public service by The Psychic Internet.
Purpose
I would like
to know why my life has been so difficult. . . in regards
to money and transportation.
Because, Dear
One, you have isolated yourself from the most positive
potentiality for your growth and have allowed instead the
secondary to walk in.
Can you
clarify that?
You have never
considered that you deserved any better than what is left
over. You have thought that supply is limited and have
therefore allowed others to be supplied while you waited
in a line that did not exist. You, Dear One, have always
chosen to fly stand-by when you could have flown first
class. Begin now, Dear One, to draw the very best to you
rather than allowing your self to be drawn into the least
best of others.
I would like
to know which talent to pursue.
My Dear One, you
are gifted in so many areas that all you need to do is to
try several. Stop wondering and start working.
Can you help
me find myself.
My Dear One. Take
the compass out of your pocket if you think you are lost
(group laughter), and you will recognize that you have
not even begun your journey. Your creative journey can
begin when you are ready to begin moving away from
contemplation into action.
I've been
preoccupied recently with the idea of commitment. . .
long-term commitment in personal relationships or
accomplishment.
Commitments, Dear
One, are like tiger holes. . . you can sometimes forget
that you have dug them and fall in. Commitments, Dear
One, not tied in with goals but tied in with expectation
are tiger holes dug by someone else and you fall into
every one. Is this clear?
I have a
question about my purpose in life. . . I feel like I need
to be doing more to help other people. . . and I. . .
My Dear One. Your
purpose in life is to live.
I have a
strong, strong desire to start my own school. . . when I
consider it I think it is an ego-need more than a
soul-goal.
It is, Dear One,
a most convenient distraction from your developing
personal selfhood. Teach yourself before you teach
others.
I feel that
if this is true that the expression of being a teacher
will come in the form of writing. Is this the ego or a
soul-goal?
What is my prize
for answering correctly? (Group laughter.) You see, Dear
One, my humor at this time, is to indicate the absurdity
of your seriousness. You, like so many other beings,
become proficient at distractions. Work on yourself and
then work, grow, follow. (Next Page)
