Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

the I Ching Oracle, click here.
The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Youthful Folly
How
directly the I Ching Oracle answers your question
about your boy. Clearly, there could be no better
way of placing your boys situation in the
context of his overall development than to single
out the image of Youthful Folly, the fourth in
the sequence of sixty-four images that comprise
the oracle. Its pertinence to the situation is
self-evident.
There is
one verse associated with the image of Youthful
Folly that is highlighted specifically for you by
todays Reading. It is this particular verse
that is not easy to interpret. In it, the oracle
says, No availing-of grasping womanhood.
Visualizing a metallic husband. Not possessing
the body. Without direction: Harvesting.
Harvesting
simply means that something is coming to fruition
at this time. Your boy is ready for a graduating
change. But inwardly he is without
direction. It is hard to say why. It may be
that he is distracted. His mother (you) can not
bring about the transition that he has to make.
Yet he continues to grasp at his mother. Such
grasping wont help him. Possibly he is in
need of his father, but here he sees the daunting
hardness of something metallic. He is merely
distracted by the reflection he sees. It does not
draw him forward and out of infancy. It is not
attractive to him in the sense of being
encouraging and understanding. It seems to him
cold and hard.
We have
to say that this agrees with our own suspicion
that something in the relationship of the boy to
his father may need attention. Indeed, this is
also confirmed by the aspect highlighted
specifically for you in this Reading from the
second image we have drawn from our I Ching. In
the image of Work On What Has Been Spoiled, the
role of the mother and father is described as
giving rise to a certain kind of decay. In
todays Reading, it is the fathers
position that seems to be the focus of
significance.
All of
the above should be approached within the
perspective of our first comment on this matter.
Everything is going to be fine with your boy. We
believe you will have to put yourself out to
whatever degree necessary to ensure that the boy
can STAY in the school he is currently doing so
well in. Moving to another school would DELAY his
progress just as you fear it might. If you can
manage this, expect good strong progress from
your son. We believe he is very strong by nature,
a fighter. He may surprise you.
