Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

the I Ching Oracle, click here.
The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

The Taming
Power of the Small
And, this
is only underlined by the passage of the image of
The Family into the image of The Taming Power of
the Small. Here, the so-called judgment says,
The Taming Power of the Small has success.
Dense clouds, no rain from our western
region. The image shows the way in which
the wind, which is invisible, builds up the
clouds full of rain. They get very dense, just as
the potential for marriage between you and J. is
very strong. There is great promise. But the time
is not ripe for acting.
Thus, the
oracle counsels you to focus on being attractive
in a passive kind of way. There is no need for
you to push yourself into J.s life. Think
only about attracting him through the power of
your spirit and personality. The central verse
associated with the image of The Taming Power of
the Small says, Thus the superior person
refines the outward aspect of her nature. A
great commentator has said of this: The
wind can indeed drive the clouds together in the
sky; yet, being nothing but air, without solid
body, it does not produce great or lasting
effects. So also an individual, in times when he
can produce no great effect in the outer world,
can do nothing except refine the expression of
his nature in small ways.
Perhaps,
this reflects on what was said above about the
perseverance of the woman. So-called
feminine wiles will take you to your
goal. Have fun with the dance
referred to above. In retrospect you will see it
as one of the great joys and adventures in life
the dance of love.
