I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Holding Together
The image
of Holding Together is a meditation on what and
whom we associate with. It describes the
principle of Nature that brings like together
with like. This is the mysterious principle of
attraction that brings each person to her beloved
in the natural course of things, as when a bee
finds the pollen in a flower. Who taught the bee,
or gave such faith to the flower? But of course
the natural course of things can be disrupted
usually when people try too hard to have
their own way, which means compelling unlike to
be with like. This ultimately leads to the kind
of conditions that we witness so well in the
environmental degradation that industrial society
inflicts on the world. It plants massive cities
on the desert and robs much of a continent of its
water to do it.
Thus, in
the so-called Judgment verse associated with the
image of Holding Together, the oracle says,
Holding Together brings good fortune.
Inquire of the oracle once again whether you
possess sublimity, constancy, and perseverance;
then there is no blame. Those who are uncertain
gradually join. Whoever come too late meets with
misfortune."
This
sounds almost like a parable from the Gospel. It
tells you that inner faith, and constancy in that
faith, will bring you to the fulfillment of your
destiny. This is the inner faith that gives you
strength to BE yourself. In this image, the I
Ching Oracle tells you that the wrong
people have claims on you and they
are able to distract you and impede your progress
in life as a consequence.
