Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Fellowship with Men
The image
of Fellowship with Men describes the full range
of conditions upon which people depend in their
relationships with others. In the aspects of this
image that apply to your situation, there is a
portent of solid progress in your ability to
relate productively with others, overcoming in
the process a certain kind of alienation that has
been characterizing your relationships thus far.
Thus, in
one of the verses that has been highlighted
specifically by todays Reading from the
image of Fellowship with Men, the oracle says,
He climbs up on his wall; he cannot attack.
Good fortune. The good fortune referred to
in this verse will arise in the course of the
next twelve months out of your own deepening
understanding of the impasse that you have
arrived at with respect to healthy interaction
and engagement with others in the world. From a
purely psychic point of view, I must say that I
also sense a general kind of impasse in your life
at this time. I feel that you have been
stagnating to a degree in your development as an
individual, not bringing your talents and
abilities to bear in ways that will stimulate you
and inspire your ambition. Life often takes on
the color of a battle in which we find ourselves
constantly competing with others for the light of
the sun. I feel that you have almost laid down
your weapons without giving the battle an honest
go. Of course, I may be exaggerating. This sort
of message may be coming to you in this Reading
simply as a way of wakening you to the idea that
there is so much more that you could be doing to
advance yourself in the world than you have been
doing. Relatively speaking, considering your real
capacity for energetic engagement in life, you
may be placing yourself in a waiting mode,
expecting that something will come along and
provide the motivation that you are not eliciting
from within your own self. In this sense, your
life at this point may be in a state of suspense.
And this is only made more intense by the kind of
alienation from others that is described for you
in the verse quoted above.
Gradually,
your experiences will reveal that
wall to you, showing you how it has
been built up on the basis of needless mistrust
and diffidence, how it stands in the way of your
progress, and how it simply isnt necessary
to maintain to any real purpose.
