Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Enthusiasm
Your
responsibilities under the circumstances can be
deduced from the two images that we have drawn
for you from our I Ching Oracle. The images of
Modesty and Enthusiasm are closely related to
each other in purely formal terms. In fact, they
are paired together in the full sequence of 64
images, as #15 and #16, respectively. To draw
both images in a single Reading, as has happened
today, is to be advised of the wholesome quality
that Chinese philosophy accords to any action
that is taken sincerely in good faith. In other
words, if the action is as correct as a sincerely
superior man is capable of conceiving it, then it
quite naturally partakes of the qualities of
enthusiasm and modesty.
In the
image of Enthusiasm, as the ancient verse says,
Thunder comes resounding out of the
earth. The time is early summer,
figuratively speaking, when great thunderclouds
bring torrents of rain to nourish the growing
earth. As the quality of this specific time in
your own affairs is reflected through this image,
it describes a need for better organization of
your own people during the initial stages of your
contemplated push forward. You need to encourage
the people in your organization who share your
vision and determination to motivate the rest. In
the Judgment verse, the oracle says,
Enthusiasm. It furthers one to install
helpers and to set armies marching.
