Travel and Accommodations
Lake Tahoe
straddles the states of Nevada and California in the
magnificent Sierra Mountains. At 6200 feet above sea
level, and with 71 miles of shoreline, the lake is 22
miles long and 12 miles wide. Known for the purity and
crystalline clarity of its water, Lake Tahoe is one of
the deepest high-alpine lakes in the world. Mark Twain
called it the fairest view the world affords.
The syNThony
Seminar is held at 7300 ft., in a beautiful contemporary
home, on a mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe and the
communities of South Lake Tahoe, California, and
Stateline, Nevada, where youll find the Heavenly
Valley Ski Resort, and Harrahs and Caesars
hotels and casinos.
Lake Tahoe is
serviced by Amtrak (direct to the lake), and by Shuttle
Bus from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, which is a
90-minute drive to Stateline, Nevada. Various rental car
agencies service Reno-Tahoe International, Harrahs
and Caesars. Maps are provided by syNThony for
participants driving from Reno, or any other point in the
USA.
Accommodations
ranging in price from $45 - $600 per night can be
arranged for you at your request.
