The Knight of Wands is described as confident and adventurous (but sometimes overly impetuous and impulsive); daring and inventive (but also boastful and tending to superficiality); strong and determined (but often inflexible and injudicious); sexy and athletic (but not always constant and faithful). The appearance of the image of The Knight of Wands portends progress as one moves forward with creative pursuits of all kinds; with educational programs and projects for self-development; with opportunities for discovery and exploration of the world or the self; and with all sorts of healthy relationships between people. One of our clients asked about his prospects for success in getting a very attractive fellow-worker to date him. In our Reading, the reversal of the image of The Knight of Wands suggested to us that he needed to avoid the blustering attitude that he was in the habit of assuming in his customary approach to women. We sensed that the woman in question was highly sensitive, and easily put off by brash self-confidence in young men. Indeed, we sensed that she was emotionally very vulnerable, and that our client should be careful not to take advantage of her only to satisfy his desire for any kind of casual or transitory pleasure. Heeding this advice, our client approached her with the utmost respect and gentleness. They were subsequently engaged to be married. |
