Who Was
Seeven?
During the
1980s, a unique psychic entity was channeled through the
consciousness of a psychologist practicing in the greater
Bay Area of Northern California. Channeling, in
psychological terms, is a process of dissociation through
which the thoughts and words of a disembodied spirit are
given physical reality and presence in the voice and
expressions of a person, the channel, who transmits them
directly through his or her own mind and body. In a
series of meetings with clients and other interested
persons, Seeven spoke directly to the living concerns of
his questioners and interlocutors. These pages are the
transcribed records of those meetings, presented as a
public service by The Psychic Internet.
Boundaries - 6
I have a
question about memory. In the last session you talked
about forgetting and people who don't forget well often
end up in mental institutions. . . and I was wondering
about memories and how they work.
A memory is a
valuable storehouse of accessible material. Some people
are disciplined internally and operate their library only
particular hours, so to speak. Those Beings who have not
evolved to the point of internal control keep their
libraries open all the time. The borrowing then is
totally undisciplined and non-directed, and so the amount
of material is overwhelming. This remembered material
creates distortions of the three-dimensional perspective.
And this distortion, this reflected image, is the most
fearful aspect of what you call mental illness. It is the
great fear because all Beings inherently know the
three-dimensional reality and what it feels like and
looks like, so to speak. When a distorted image is seen
the shock is overwhelming. Remembering too much is
dangerous.
You can kill
yourself with carrots and celery. The great gods of your
food chains, in all their innocence and low calories. . .
I stand corrected by a member of the group that carrots
are not low in calories and I appreciate that
information. You see, I had to prove my fallibility to
convince those of you who still insisted I was perfect in
my information dissemination.
You see, excess
is dangerous to your health. Moderation, as our friend
Benjamin so adamantly and avidly proposed, is most
appropriate. He, however, was the perfect antithesis of
moderation. This was his private humor that no-one, until
now, has ever been exposed to. He smiled inside
continuously because of the grand joke he played morning
'til night and night 'til morning.
On the same
subject: Some people who have photographic vision. . .
Well, what is photographic vision really good for? . . .
or could be used for to better oneself, rather than just
store all this garbage?
For taking
pictures for your picture gallery. Memories can be
displayed in prominent places and respected and admired
and used to grow. When they are scattered all over the
floor and piled into disorganized heaps they are only
covering the living space. Select those that are most
important and cherish them by giving them their own
prominent place where they fit so well.
In putting
them in their own place. . . If you're looking at them
wouldn't you be in the past?
My Dear One, it
is necessary when working on your challenges, to
sometimes move into other time spaces - past and future.
Live in the NOW but work on yourself, if you must, in the
past, now and the future. And use past and future for
enjoyment, for recreation, with your special pictures,
for example.
Thank you.
You have, all of
you, some very old classic films. There is nothing wrong
with seeing them from time-to-time and viewing them with
great affection and, perhaps, great amusement - even the
times of pain and fear.
Seeven, those
old classic films that you speak of, is it. . . will I
ever be able to look upon them with love and affection
totally?
This is your
great challenge, My Dear One. You can take that challenge
and move directly towards success with it, or you can
fear the challenge and avoid it. You have, certainly, a
very fine potential for success because you are a
Spiritual Being far beyond even your conscious awareness.
Your gentle, loving energy is radiantly warm when it is
radiated inward and outward. (Next Page)
