Seeven?
During the
1980s, a unique psychic entity was channeled through the
consciousness of a psychologist practicing in the greater
Bay Area of Northern California. Channeling, in
psychological terms, is a process of dissociation through
which the thoughts and words of a disembodied spirit are
given physical reality and presence in the voice and
expressions of a person, the channel, who transmits them
directly through his or her own mind and body. In a
series of meetings with clients and other interested
persons, Seeven spoke directly to the living concerns of
his questioners and interlocutors. These pages are the

Evil
I'd like to ask
if there's such a thing as evil?
That, my Dear
One, is a very, very important question. Now you
may go to the head of the class.
All evil, Dear
One, is born of fear. Fear is the parent of evil, just as
love is the parent of good. Your devils are created in
your mind theaters every day. You bump into devils in the
dark and in the light. In fact, you trip over devils with
almost every step you take. You are devilish, indeed.
Specifically
or in general? (laughing)
We both know, my
Dear One, that you have always been the devilish sort.
But all beings, by nature, and through their strong
religious conditionings, are devilish creatures.
What about
the Bible’s take on evil?
Like all truths,
Dear One, with time there is a great distortion. A book
remains stagnant, and those beings who try to keep truth
stagnant with a book of basic truths, that applied in
ages past, prohibit growth and the reception and
perception of truth in this time frame. Truth is
unchanging. But man's readiness to perceive it must
always be considered. Many of your religious documents
are founded in truth but they have been distorted and,
therefore, misunderstood. Simply look at the changes in
language over the years and you will see how evolution
occurs, even in that which is used each moment of the
