Who Was
Seeven?
During the
1980s, a unique psychic entity was channeled through the
consciousness of a psychologist practicing in the greater
Bay Area of Northern California. Channeling, in
psychological terms, is a process of dissociation through
which the thoughts and words of a disembodied spirit are
given physical reality and presence in the voice and
expressions of a person, the channel, who transmits them
directly through his or her own mind and body. In a
series of meetings with clients and other interested
persons, Seeven spoke directly to the living concerns of
his questioners and interlocutors. These pages are the
transcribed records of those meetings, presented as a
public service by The Psychic Internet.
Being Selfish
Dear One, you
associate with the animal kingdom so well because of a
concerted need to maintain a balance between the physical
and nonphysical worlds. You knew many, many years ago of
the direction and speed of your growth in what appeared
to be ahead of you in years. You thus proceeded to
develop a hold through fulfilling needs of lower
vibrational frequencies that you perceive as animal. You
do a most loving job in your process of growth. You are
indeed selfish and you need not be startled by my choice
of words. A being must be selfish because it is his
genetic conditioning to be so. Genetic conditionings
allow survival and are therefore necessary for movement
towards Spiritual awareness. Selfishness can carry two
distinct charges. One, positive. One, negative. A
positively selfish being is aware, is loving, is patient
and is dedicated to the awareness of others. A negatively
selfish person or particular action is expending energy
discovering ways to possess. A positively selfish person
borrows; a negatively selfish person steals, and
considers the product of the theft a possession. So you
see, Dear One, someone may call you selfish and not
realizing they are paying you the greatest compliment of
all. Many of your worries are seen as declamations of
fault when in fact they can be and often are statements
of Truth. And welcome. You use the expression "to go
out of your mind." You point to other beings and
accuse them and pity them and isolate them for being out
of their minds. For beings who live Life as a mental
process, being "out of the mind" would be a
great step towards awareness and perception. Many beings
need to be "out of their mind" and those who
are already "out of their mind" must assess
periodically whether it is time to be "back in their
mind" to some degree for this provides a most
important work tool. Positively selfish beings who are
"out of their minds" are to be greatly admired.
How would that sound to those outside of this space?
Certainly no being could win the presidency with that as
his message. You even talk about being "fired"
from a job as something to brood about when, in fact,
being "fired" from a job means being ejected
into a different orbit of possibilities. To be
"fired" is to be ignited into a different
probability environment. Most beings need to rejoice when
they are "fired" for they have not seen
themselves and their need to progress in a different
sphere other than accept the burden of responsibility.
You see, Dear One how interesting your language is. (Next Page)
