Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Return
We need
to warn you about the probability of a
disappointment during the week ahead. For that
reason, I think I should begin with some words
about the image of Return, which is the first of
the two images that we have drawn for you today
from our I Ching Oracle. In this Reading, the
pairing of Return and The Joyous is certainly
very auspicious. Because you obviously have some
very serious challenges ahead of you, the oracle
sends you this reassurance about the ultimate
restoration of your best good spirits and
well-being in the outcome.
When one
sees the image of Return, one thinks of a turning
point in some particular cycle of development. In
the present case, the turning point is of a kind
that emphasizes the regressive, the backward
turning, implication of the image of Return. The
oracle reflects on how you found yourself making
progress down a certain path; then, suddenly a
promising prospect along the course of that path
got your attention and you followed it; but the
byway proved to be a dead end; so that now you
must turn away from it, and return to your
original path undaunted and undiminished in your
determination to persevere onward and upward.
This
general idea is expressed through the verses that
have been highlighted specifically for you by
todays Reading from the image of Return. In
the first of these, the oracle says, Quiet
return. Good fortune. In the second, it
says, Walking in the midst of others, one
returns alone. And in the third, it says,
Noblehearted return. No remorse.
These
verses almost speak for themselves. The nature of
the disappointment you will deal with involves a
close associate, or several close associates.
Cultivate an attitude of noble renunciation
toward the good fortune that you were hoping to
enjoy in the business arrangement that was
envisioned by these associates and yourself. If
true value were always appreciated, you should
probably have expected to see this association
move forward easily to success. We sense that it
had every reason to do so. But remorse would only
distract you from proceeding forward. You need
focused energy. Carry on with confidence. Return
to the main path and continue on with good faith
and courage.
But,
there is not necessarily any reason for you to be
alarmed at this inevitability as it manifests
itself in your life at this time. While it is
clear that your wife brings a lot of negativity
with her in general, yet we do not believe that a
bad result will come from her return into your
life at this time. Indeed, by controlling your
own understandable anxiety over this matter, you
will maximize the good potential that you have
already established in your childrens
lives, and avoid an entanglement with evil that
can complicate this situation unnecessarily.
Thus, it
would be wise to consider the so-called Judgment
verse that has been associated with the image of
Return since very ancient times. It says,
Return. Success. Going out and coming in
without error. Friends come without blame. To and
fro goes the way. On the seventh day comes
return. It furthers one to have somewhere to
go. The seventh day is a traditional way of
pointing to the end of a cycle of development.
The implication here is that you may have
confidence in the transitory character of the
events that lie ahead for your family. Your
ex-wife has come once again into your life, but
you can also be sure that she will leave it yet
again. Her influence is waning, not waxing. Be
calm and confident. Everything will work out very
well.
