Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

The Preponderance of the
Great
In the
image of Preponderance of the Great, the oracle
describes you as a man with a crucial role to
play in a situation that is overburdened and
unbalanced due to certain weaknesses in the
structure of things. In this way, your role is
constructive in the sense of propping up those
features of the structure that are bending under
the excessive weight that is being imposed on
them by current circumstances. The situation is
fraught with danger, as implied in both of the
images that we have drawn for you today. The
whole structure of things could collapse, and the
outcome depends on your own particular
contribution to the endeavors in which you are
involved. You are the brace, or ridgepole, that
is designed to hold things up. A tremendous
responsibility and burden are implied by this,
and this too may tend to hinder or inhibit the
natural positivism of your spirit, so that its
full power may not be expressed as it should be
without restraint.
There is
something essentially lonely and SEEMINGLY
unsupported in your position that should be
understood and acknowledged by you. Take heart,
then, from the central verse associated with the
image of The Preponderance of the Great. Here,
the oracle says, Thus the superior man,
when he stands alone, is unconcerned, and if he
has to renounce the world, he is undaunted.
This
should not be taken to mean, however, that we see
you actually alone, either in spirit, or,
practically speaking, in your daily affairs and
work. On the contrary, we see you participating
with great good will in a group of people who are
working together toward the construction of
something great and lasting. We see success for
your endeavors in the future. Your success will
come from giving yourself whole-heartedly to your
work.
