Conflict
In the view of
the I Ching, you need to exercise great caution.
The image of Conflict speaks for itself with
regard to what you can expect in general and in
the long run. But, in practical terms, the verse
that is highlighted specifically from this image
may be of some considerable help to you. In it
the oracle says, “If one does not perpetuate
the affair, there is a little gossip, and in the
end, good fortune comes.” The gossip that is
pictured in this aspect of the image of Conflict
is certainly not something that you would
welcome. But it must be realized also that there
is actually nothing very serious about it. In the
larger picture of things, it doesn’t matter
at all, for the result of the situation overall
is good fortune. This goes along with the
positive aspects of your relationship as I
described them to you already in the above. The
point is that there is nothing greatly to be lost
or suffered in the case of this relationship, IF,
and this is a very important IF, it is not
perpetuated. In other words, you may want to
consider taking the very next exit on this
particular freeway of love.
