Psychic Readings from The
Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

the I Ching Oracle, click here.
The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

The Caldron
You may be experiencing
disappointments about your present circumstances,
unhappiness with certain people whom you are
working with, and other dissatisfactions with
respect to your geographical location, but these
challenges should not necessarily be allowed to
overshadow the larger picture of your prospects
with the company.
In fact, the second of the
two images that we have drawn from our I Ching
Oracle suggest that those prospects are still in
the process of developing and maturing. I often
like to say when I see the appearance of the
image of The Caldron in a reading that,
something is cooking. Because the
image describes an ongoing process, the central
verse associated with it says, Thus the
superior man consolidates his fate by making his
position correct.
I often ask our clients to
make a distinction between fate and destiny. The
idea of destiny is somewhat different from fate.
Destiny is something that is fulfilled by the way
we live our lives, or it is not so fulfilled, for
the same reason. One has to capture or win
ones destiny. A Zulu proverb says,
Your fate is not coming at you. It is
moving away from you and you must run to catch
it. For the purposes of this Reading, it
will be helpful for you to substitute the word
"destiny," in the sense just defined,
for the word "fate" in the above quoted
verse.
This means that you need to
continue to work on gaining the kind of
recognition that you know that you deserve in the
company. As one great commentator has said about
this verse, There is in man a fate that
lends power to his life. And if he succeeds in
assigning the right place to life and to fate,
thus bringing the two into harmony, he puts his
fate on a firm footing.
In the judgment verse
associated with the image of The Caldron, the
oracle says, Supreme good
fortune. Success. And in the
Judgment verse associated with the image of
Duration, which we have also drawn for you today,
the oracle says, "Success. No blame.
Perseverance furthers. It furthers one to
have somewhere to go. Both of these
judgments portend ultimate success for you in
your current position at the company. Once
again they confirm for us the idea that this is
not the time for you to be making a change.
