Psychic Internet often feature images drawn from the
I Ching Oracle. To offer supplementary
information about these images for our clients,
and for the public, we have provided this archive
of brief articles.

The
abstract images of the I Ching Oracle (usually
called "hexagrams") symbolize all of
the related and interacting aspects of reality.
In the following excerpts from actual Psychic Readings, the images of the I Ching
are discussed.

Biting Through
We
decided to consult our Chinese Oracle, the so
called I Ching, or Book of Changes, as a way of
seeking some sort of advice for you under the
circumstances. The oracle replied with the image
of Biting Through.
The image
of Biting Through shows literally the upper and
lower jaws biting down on some obstacle that
intrudes and prevents their coming together. It
is an image that suggests forthright and decisive
action. Applied to your situation, it means
drawing a boundary between the past and the
future with regard to this relationship. It
advises a very sober examination of the situation
as it really is, and then a decisive action on
the basis of the conclusions that you come to.
You might consider your situation as similar to
the one described about Alexander the Great and
the Gordion Knot. This legendary knot in a length
of rope existed as a great riddle in
Alexanders time, for nobody could figure
out how to untie it. Countless others attempted
to do it, but failed. Alexander succeeded, but in
a particular way that has become synonymous with
the virtues of conquering self-confidence and
decisiveness. He took out his sword and sliced
through the rope.
If you
can find a way of cutting through your
girlfriends reluctance to commit to you,
doing something decisive that transforms the
situation so far as she is concerned, then you
can change the probabilities that exist now.
Short of such a decisive transformation, however,
we do NOT see you reestablishing your
relationship.
